Suffolk Pub of the Month for February

Suffolk Pub of the Month for February 2005 - Thorpe Morieux Bull - this pub was selected at a recent West Suffolk branch meeting as a good example of a rural pub which works well for everyone. Particularly apt as February is when CAMRA's NATIONAL PUB WEEK is widely celebrated. The Bull is not a young people's disco pub, but a lot of youngsters do regularly use the pub and keep it lively. It is not a restaurant, but plenty of people choose the Bull when eating out. Darts, cribbage and pool are also regularly played, without preventing the Bull being full of good conversation and humour. Eric and Doreen together with son, Gary and daughter, Beverley have run the pub for 12 years - long may they continue to prosper.
